The Open Community Improv Workshop is structured weekly at the 101 level. People of all experience levels will feel comfortable with all of the exercises. Each class begins with warmups followed by games that focus on character development, pattern recognition and scene building. We end each hour with fun cool-downs and positive affirmations.
Students who take advantage of monthly subscriptions will be given the option to receive more advanced notes and resources to help move them along in the improv and acting communities, should they so desire.

Born in Los Angeles in 2019, Bernie Mac & Cheese began as a practice group before quickly evolving into a performing long-form improv team known for bold energy and diverse voices.

After their first show sparked buzz across LA, BMC won ten consecutive weeks at The Pack Theater’s Death Match and claimed the Tournament of Champions.
Post-pandemic resurgence. Multiple residencies.
Following the industry-wide pause, the team returned stronger in 2021, earning residencies and performing multiple nights a week across Los Angeles.
